To lead the next phase of growth at TLT Mechanics - cutting-edge plastic injection moulding facility - we are looking for a visionary and commercially minded Head of Manufacturing Innovations to shape our technological roadmap, industrialization, and automation strategy.
In this strategic role, you will bridge the gap between complex engineering and financial performance. You will shape the future of our production ecosystem by heading New Product Introduction (NPI), high-level automation, and high-impact CAPEX investments to maximize profitability, capacity, and market competitiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Technological Strategy & Roadmap: Formulate and execute the long-term manufacturing technology strategy, driving Industry 4.0 initiatives, automation, and digitalization.
- NPI & Industrialization: Oversee the end-to-end New Product Introduction (NPI) process, ensuring flawless transition from technical concept/R&D to stable, scalable, and cost-effective serial production.
- Automation & Efficiency: Initiate and lead complex automation, robotics, and process optimization projects to boost OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and eliminate throughput bottlenecks.
- Feasibility & Risk Assessment: Conduct rigorous technical and financial viability evaluations for new customer projects, analyzing necessary equipment, cycle times, capacities, and cost structures.
- CAPEX & Financial Stewardship: Manage the technology investment budget. Build rock-solid business cases for new machinery and software, accurately forecasting ROI, payback periods, and long-term asset utilization.
- Capacity & Margin Optimization: Continuous analysis of manufacturing capacities and operational costs (OPEX/COGS) to identify opportunities for margin improvement and optimized capital employment.
Requirements
- Proven track record (5+ years) in a senior leadership role within manufacturing engineering or technology management (experience within plastic injection moulding industry is a big plus).
- Deep understanding of modern manufacturing technologies, industrial automation, robotics, and robust NPI frameworks.
- Strong capability to look at engineering through a financial lens - expert knowledge of CAPEX, OPEX, ROI, and product cost estimation.
- Ability to align and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders spanning Operations, Sales, and Finance.
- You are a data-driven, strategic thinker who thrives on transforming complex engineering challenges into highly profitable business outcomes.
- Fluency in English and Lithuanian.

Salary
We appreciate everyone's efforts and experiences, so we offer an attractive compensation package that will match your skillset and expertise in the field. The salary for this position is from 36 Eur/h up to 45 Eur/h (~6000 Eur – 7500 Eur/monthly) pre-tax, depending on your experience and expertise.
