Head of Medical Research and Academic Collaboration

You will connect technical teams with medical principal investigators in China and internationally. You will build research partnerships, define research questions and resources, design studies with algorithm, clinical, and statistics colleagues, coordinate execution and milestones, and oversee writing, submission, revision, and publication of academic papers.

Responsibilities

• Build sustained research partnerships with principal investigators at hospitals, universities, and research institutions
• Define research questions, resource commitments, and outcome objectives
• Develop valuable research topics based on model capabilities and medical needs
• Design studies with algorithm, clinical, and statistics teams
• Coordinate data, experiments, clinical evaluation, and analysis
• Manage cross-institutional collaborations and key milestones
• Oversee paper writing, quality review, submission, revision, and publication plans
• Drive original research, evaluation, perspective, and review outputs

Requirements

• Discuss clinical research topics in depth with clinical principal investigators and algorithm teams
• Demonstrate scientific judgment and cross-institutional collaboration capability
• Have led high-quality research, research collaboration, or academic publication projects
• Understand the full process from topic selection and study design to paper publication
• Have a research background in medicine, medical informatics, public health, epidemiology, medical AI, or a related field
• Doctoral degree or equivalent research capability is preferred
• Take ownership of project progress and outcome quality
