Description

About the company

Our client is an education technology company.

The role

Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Own the full path from signed agreement to a fully working customer site, coordinating equipment, staging, configuration, data syncs and training. Build the repeatable processes and internal operating rhythm that let a growing team deliver at volume, and keep each deployment moving through to completion.

What you'll do

- Manage each deployment from signed agreement to a live, working site, including shipping plans, location mapping, data syncs and training schedules.

- Create a self-setup guide clear enough for customer staff to complete installation without support calls.

- Serve as the main contact for customer staff on site and remotely, keeping them informed and engaged.

- Run internal operations, including shipments, purchasing, inventory and the team's tool stack.

- Maintain a daily operating dashboard that tracks deliveries, overdue items and accounts due for follow-up.

- Plan for high-volume periods when many new sites launch at once.

- Spot recurring problems, document them as playbooks and automate tasks that do not need a person.

- Travel regularly to customer sites, including out-of-town locations.

Requirements

What we're looking for

- Experience in operations, implementation, field operations, program management or logistics.

- Uses AI tools critically to analyze and improve systems, not only to generate output.

- Comfortable troubleshooting operational software and hardware, including spreadsheets, CSV files, data syncs and device pairing.

- Able to take a murky, open-ended challenge, pull it apart and turn it into an actionable plan.

- Able to build credibility and lead groups of skeptical stakeholders.

- Humble and accountable.

- Able to work on-site five days a week, 7am to 7pm.

- Willing and able to travel regularly for site visits and conferences.

Bonus points

- Experience at early-stage startups or as an early operations hire.

- Experience in supply chain, procurement, distribution or deliveries.

- Familiarity with common operations tools such as workflow automation, wikis, email marketing platforms and customer messaging tools.

- Higher education preferred, or equivalent experience.

Benefits

Compensation and benefits

- Base salary: $135K - $165K

- Equity

- Relocation support

Location and work model

- Brooklyn, New York, United States

- On-site, five days a week

- Full-time
