About the Role

This is a senior opportunity for a performance marketing leader to shape and lead a joined-up digital performance strategy across multiple international markets and brands.

Working closely with Channel Managers and teams across Digital, Brand, ATL, Creative, BI and Technology, you will drive commercial growth across key paid media channels. You will own performance planning, forecasting, target-setting, reporting, measurement, cross-channel alignment and continuous improvement, while enabling channel specialists to deliver strong results.

Key ResponsibilitiesPerformance Strategy & Commercial Performance
  • Partner with Channel Managers to set, track and challenge KPIs, budgets and commercial outcomes.
  • Drive a joined-up digital ecosystem, ensuring channels understand their role in the customer journey and the impact of attribution and investment decisions.
  • Lead cross-channel testing, optimisation and innovation, sharing learnings across markets.
  • Identify opportunities through technology, automation, AI, CRO, landing-page improvements, offer testing and other high-impact initiatives.
  • Ensure channel plans align with market priorities and wider business objectives.
Planning, Forecasting, Reporting & Measurement
  • Support the Digital Director with annual, mid-year and ongoing performance planning and forecasting across markets.
  • Own agreed performance targets, monitoring delivery and constructively challenging plans or results that are off track.
  • Lead monthly performance reporting, highlighting results versus target/budget, key drivers, risks, opportunities and actions.
  • Establish efficient central planning and reporting frameworks, including master media plans, budget/run-rate tracking and consistent market documentation.
  • Coordinate Performance QBRs and senior reviews, ensuring discussions are insight-led and actions are delivered.
  • Develop and improve measurement frameworks covering attribution, incrementality, MMM, funnel analysis and dashboarding.
  • Partner with BI, Analytics and Technology to improve data agility and reduce manual reporting and decision-making delays.
Full-Funnel, ATL, Brand & Creative Alignment
  • Develop a full-funnel framework across Brand, Performance and Retention, aligned to shared business objectives and success metrics.
  • Connect ATL, Brand and Creative activity with Performance channels to maximise demand generated by ATL investment.
  • Ensure ATL plans, timing and messaging inform Performance activation and optimisation, while Performance insights feed back into Brand and ATL planning.
  • Work with the Director of Social to define the role, objectives and measurement of Brand Social and upper-funnel digital activity.
  • Assess the relationship between ATL investment, digital activity, brand demand, acquisition and retention.
Operations, Leadership & Collaboration
  • Support the Digital Director in leading and coordinating the Performance function, creating clear priorities, accountability and ways of working.
  • Prioritise cross-channel and cross-market initiatives by business impact and reduce duplicated effort.
  • Improve processes, governance and ways of working to increase efficiency.
  • Act as the central coordination point across Performance, ensuring teams understand initiatives, dependencies and testing opportunities.
  • Support coaching and development of Channel Managers, strengthening capability and accountability without unnecessary micromanagement.
  • Identify resource, capability and structural gaps and help evolve the Performance function.
  • Own agreed cross-functional initiatives, ensuring blockers have clear owners, actions and escalation routes.
Stakeholder, Platform & Change Management
  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across Markets, Brand, ATL, Creative, Retention, BI/Analytics and Technology.
  • Influence and constructively challenge stakeholders to ensure robust forecasts, targets and commercial performance.
  • Translate data, market developments and channel insights into clear recommendations for senior leadership.
  • Represent Performance in senior discussions on measurement and data-led decision-making.
  • Maintain strong relationships with platform, agency and technology partners, sharing opportunities and best practice.
  • Support the Digital Director on growth plans, market priorities, major campaigns and strategic initiatives.
  • Drive adoption of new processes and frameworks through clear communication, ownership and accountability.
Requirements
  • 7+ years’ experience in Performance or Digital Marketing
  • Experience in a fast-paced, performance-led environment
  • Broad knowledge across PPC, Paid Social, Mobile/App, Programmatic and/or YouTube
  • Deep expertise in at least one core performance discipline
  • Experience leading performance strategy across multiple international markets
  • Strong commercial, analytical and operational capability
  • Experience with targets, budgets, forecasting, reporting and performance management
  • Strong understanding of attribution, testing, optimisation and marketing effectiveness
  • Understanding of how Brand, ATL, Creative, Retention and Digital Performance work together
  • Excellent stakeholder management, influencing and constructive challenge skills
  • Experience leading, mentoring or managing teams
  • Highly organised and comfortable working hands-on in a lean, fast-moving environment
Advantageous Experience
  • iGaming, online gaming, betting, casino or gambling experience
  • Experience in ecommerce, fintech, subscriptions or digital entertainment
  • Experience with incrementality testing, MMM and advanced measurement
  • Experience improving performance operations, governance and cross-functional ways of working
  • Experience working across ATL, Brand, Creative, BI, Analytics and Technology
