HEAD OF PLANT QUALITY

Position Objective

Lead and coordinate Plant Quality activities to ensure that products and processes comply with internal quality standards, customer requirements, safety regulations, and applicable specifications. The position is responsible for shop-floor quality decisions, process releases, non-conforming product management, quality performance, and corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Plant Quality department and assigned quality team.
• Ensure compliance with product and process quality standards.
• Make shop-floor quality decisions.
• Manage visual and dimensional process releases.
• Control non-conforming products and quarantine areas.
• Monitor and analyze quality performance.
• Lead problem-solving, corrective actions, and continuous improvement activities.
• Manage 8D reports and verify the effectiveness of implemented corrective actions.
• Perform and follow up on product, process, and system audits.
• Manage internal and customer complaints.
• Maintain and strengthen the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Participate in supplier selection, evaluation, development, and corrective-action follow-up.
• Define quality standards and approve boundary samples.
• Ensure compliance with Product Safety requirements.
• Maintain effective communication with customers regarding quality issues.

Requirements

• University degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Strong experience in Quality within the automotive industry.
• Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, and PFMEA.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949 and VDA 6.3.
• Knowledge of VDA 6.5, VDA 16, CQI-11, and CQI-23.
• Knowledge of Product Safety requirements.
• Experience in product, process, and system audits.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Customer-oriented mindset and ability to work effectively across departments.
• Good English communication skills.
• Advanced MS Office skills.
