Role Description The Head of Production will oversee all production activities to ensure that output meets quality, cost, and delivery targets. This full-time, on-site role is based in Chakan and involves planning and monitoring daily production schedules, coordinating with procurement, quality, and maintenance teams, and resolving operational issues. The role includes managing and mentoring production supervisors and line staff, implementing process improvements, and enforcing safety and compliance standards. The Head of Production will track performance metrics, optimize resource allocation, manage production budgets, and support strategic initiatives related to capacity, efficiency, and cost reduction. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in Production Planning and Production Management to oversee schedules, workflows, and output quality. Candidates should possess solid Operations Management and Budgeting skills to control costs, manage resources, and support profitability. Candidates should possess effective Team Management skills to lead, motivate, and develop production staff at multiple levels. Experience in automotive or manufacturing environments, with familiarity in lean manufacturing, process optimization, and safety standards. Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field; advanced qualifications are an advantage. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with proficiency in production planning tools and ERP systems. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills, with a track record of handling high-volume operations. .
