Head of – Production Technology & Automation (f/m/d)

Responsibilities:

• Develop and drive the global Manufacturing Excellence strategy with a focus on automation, standardization, digital value creation, and the sustainable improvement of productivity, quality, and process stability.
• Develop, maintain, and manage investment roadmaps, including responsibility for strategic CAPEX planning and investment controlling.
• Initiate, lead, and successfully implement automation and technology projects.
• Monitor and evaluate emerging technologies and innovations in manufacturing processes.
• Drive the standardization of machinery and associated processes, with a particular focus on process stability.
• Lead, develop, and mentor employees.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable qualification.
• Relevant professional experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly in process optimization as well as the successful development and implementation of automation and technology strategies.
• Strong facilitation, presentation, and communication skills across different organizational levels.
• Innovative and cross-functional mindset combined with an analytical, structured working approach and strong execution capabilities.
• Enthusiasm, team spirit, and a collaborative working style, combined with flexibility and adaptability.
• Independent working style and entrepreneurial mindset.
• Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
• Prior leadership experience is desirable.
