Head of Programmes & Business Development

Africana League is an CSO looking for a Head of Programmes and Business Development to own the delivery of our flagship programmes and build the partnerships and funding that power them.

You will manage the Nigeria House of Commons Season 2, the Africana League Corps pilot, and the Africana League Awards, while leading our grant writing, donor relationships, and sponsorship strategy.
You will be based in Abuja, full-time, and you will be the face of Africana League in rooms that matter.

This is not an execution role for someone waiting to be told what to do. We need a builder.

What you need to bring:

At least 2- 4+ years in programme management, business development, or partnerships in the civic, development, or media space. A track record of actually securing funding (grants, sponsorships, or partnerships). Strong writing ability. Strong relationship skills. The ability to manage multiple programmes simultaneously without dropping anything.
If you have existing relationships with donors, foundations, or corporate sponsors relevant to youth governance and civic leadership in Nigeria, that puts you ahead.
