Built on a microservices architecture, Whale supports the full front-to-back office business chain — from trading, KYC/AML, and CRM to wealth management and virtual assets — and currently serves more than 100 financial institutions globally.

Responsibilities

1. Lead the end-to-end project management function for LONGPORT Whale, overseeing platform implementation and go-live delivery for institutional clients (brokerages, banks, family offices) across markets.
2. Build and lead a project management team, establishing a PMO governance structure, methodology, and best practices suited to Whale's B2B SaaS delivery model.
3. Manage the team's people functions, including recruitment and selection, performance evaluation, capability development, and career planning, to build a high-performing, well-coordinated project management team.
4. Serve as the central point of coordination between clients and internal product, engineering, compliance, and sales teams to ensure on-time, on-scope delivery.
5. Manage risk, budget, timeline, and resource allocation across multiple concurrent institutional client projects.
6. Monitor key performance indicators and delivery performance throughout the project lifecycle, and report progress regularly to senior leadership.
7. Organize post-implementation reviews, capture lessons learned, and drive continuous improvement of delivery methodology across regional teams.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree or above, with 8+ years of project/program management experience, ideally with a background in fintech, brokerage, or B2B SaaS implementation.
2. Proven track record leading cross-functional, multi-market delivery teams and managing a PMO function, with direct experience managing project managers or a project team.
3. Familiarity with brokerage/securities trading systems (account opening, trading, KYC/AML, CRM) is a strong plus.
4. PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.
5. Familiar with Agile and Waterfall methodologies and hybrid approaches, with hands-on experience using Jira or similar project management tools.
6. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills in both English and Chinese.
7. Willingness to travel across markets as needed to support institutional clients.
