KBR is looking for a Head of QA/QC to facilitate, monitor, and control the plant maintenance, quality assurance procedures, and policies.

Responsibilities:

• Develop QA plans and other required process control procedures to ensure maintenance processes meet the specified quality and HSEQ standards of the company.
• Maintain the corrective action program and other quality systems.
• Develop and implement the quality management system.
• Coordinate and participate in internal audits with company quality personnel.
• Conduct quality assurance investigations (deviations, out-of-specifications, etc.).
• Review maintenance processes and ensure that they are carried out in accordance with applicable standard operating procedures and work instructions.
• Liaise with other departments on quality assurance issues.
• Carry out other quality assurance functions as they may arise.
• Support contractor staff in its mission of compliance and continuous improvement.
• Ensure that all QA department personnel are trained to perform their jobs effectively.
• Manage the QA departmental budget and other administrative functions to ensure an efficient maintenance operation that is cost effective and well integrated.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 10+ years’ experience in a quality control position.
• Strong technical understanding of quality control and assurance.
• Holding NACE Level 2 certification.
• Strong knowledge in root cause analysis (RCA).
• Well organized and proactive with excellent communication skills.
• Proven leadership skills with large organizations.
• Strategic thinking and openness to new ideas.
• Ability to achieve business results working in a multi-cultural environment.
