HEAD OF QM
Job Summary**
Lead and oversee the entire Quality Management system for PT Japfa Food Indonesia, ensuring all products meet the highest quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
Job Responsibilities**
* Develop, implement, and maintain a robust Quality Management System (QMS) in line with national and international food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000, GMP).
* Lead and manage the QM department, including recruitment, training, performance management, and career development of QM staff.
* Establish and monitor key quality performance indicators (KPIs) and conduct regular quality audits and inspections across all production facilities.
* Oversee the management of raw material quality, in-process quality control, and finished product quality assurance.
* Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for quality deviations and non-conformances.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant food safety regulations, industry standards, and internal company policies.
* Manage customer complaints related to product quality, conducting investigations and implementing effective resolutions.
* Collaborate with R&D, Production, and Supply Chain departments to integrate quality aspects into new product development and existing processes.
* Prepare and present quality reports to senior management, highlighting performance, risks, and improvement initiatives.
* Stay updated on the latest food safety regulations, quality trends, and best practices within the industry.
Job Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related scientific field. Master's degree preferred.
* Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in Quality Management within the food processing industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
* In-depth knowledge and practical experience with international food safety standards (HACCP, ISO 22000, GMP) and Indonesian food regulations (BPOM).
* Proven track record of developing and implementing effective QMS.
* Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
* Proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia, both written and verbal.
* Strong communication and presentation skills.
* Ability to travel to various production sites as required.
