Head of Secretariat
- Work with Emeritus Chairman, President, Office Bearers and EXCO members of UAESBC in the planning, management, and implementation of key tasks for the smooth-running of the Council. These include tasks that are related to business development, administrative, secretariat, financial, manpower, events, regulatory and compliance and other matters of the Council.
- Plan, execute and collaborate all events organized by the Council or in conjunction with internal stakeholders and strategic partners (government entities and other business associations/councils/chambers). These include workshops, conferences, talks, networking events and business missions with the objective of promoting commerce, trade and investments between Singapore and the UAE.
- Induct members to the Business Council and engage them to build up the membership base and achieve the objectives of the Business Council.
- Formulate plans and initiatives to achieve the vision and objectives of the Business Council in a timely manner.
- Write and produce bi-monthly and annual reports for each sub-committee of the Council.
- Plan, curate and manage content for the Council’s online and offline publications.
- Manage and maintain a robust database of contacts of the Business Council’s members, associates, and non-members.
- Manage staff effectively within the Secretariat to achieve optimal teamwork, efficiency and productivity in the running of the UAESBC.
- Ensure that the good reputation of the UAESBC is always maintained with its patrons, members, external partners and the public at large.
