Head of Strategic Projects
About the Job
Our client, a digital bank, is seeking a Head of Strategic Projects to identify, structure, and launch new commercial opportunities and revenue streams. The successful candidate will combine structured strategic thinking with hands-on business development, partnership origination and go-to-market execution.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities across payments, digital wallets, trade platforms, SaaS, lending, brokerages, exchanges and other adjacent sectors
- Develop market-entry strategies, business cases, financial models and commercial propositions
- Originate, structure and negotiate complex strategic partnerships and revenue-sharing arrangements
- Build relationships with senior stakeholders across fintech, financial services and technology ecosystems
- Lead opportunities from initial market assessment and partner identification through negotiation, launch and commercialisation
- Work closely with product, technology, risk, compliance, legal and finance teams to deliver new initiatives
- Support the CEO on strategic growth priorities
Our Ideal Candidate:
- 10+ years of experience across strategy, business development, strategic partnerships, corporate development and/or commercial growth
- Experience within digital banking, fintech, payments, and a background in management consulting
- Demonstrated experience originating, structuring and executing complex, revenue-generating partnerships
- Credible and effective when engaging C-suite stakeholders and navigating regulated environments
- Sharp, direct and execution-oriented, with the ability to work effectively with a similarly fast-paced leadership team
