Head of Supply Chain Planning (m/f/d)

Summary

Leads the customer service and supply chain planning team for an international manufacturing company, coordinating logistics and request management while managing multi-level teams.

The role is to manage and develop the customer service team in an international environment.

Planning
  • Customer Demand planning
  • Capacity Planning
  • Material/MRP Planning
Demand and Forecast Management
  • Annual budget fulfillment and 12 months rolling forecast
  • Improve forecast accuracy
Inventory Management
  • Define inventory trategies ( safety stock, stocking policies)
  • Optimize inventory levels, turnover and obsolescence risk
  • Reduce inventory capital
Process Standardization & Optimization
  • Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Eliminate inefficiencies and manuel work
Team Leadership & Development
  • Lead and develop planning teams ( demand, supply, material planners)
  • Foster a high-performance and collaborative culture
Performance Management (KPIs)
Define, monitor, and improve key KPIs:
  • Service Level / OTIF (On-Time In-Full)
  • Forecast Accuracy
  • Inventory Turns / Days Inventory Outstanding
Drive performance reviews and corrective actions
  • Completed training / studies in business administration or comparable
  • At least three years of professional experience as a department manager in the field of logistics
  • Business fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
  • Knowledge in building up internal sales team
  • Experience in coordinating and organizing multi level teams
  • Extensive understanding of the request management from customers of the industry
  • Hands-on mentality
  • Ability to work in a team, intercultural competence, presentation and management skills
