About Utexo
Utexo is the licensed issuer of USDT on Bitcoin, under a worldwide licence from Tether, using the RGB protocol. Utexo Swap is one of two core products: an intent-based liquidity layer that lets users swap tokens across Ethereum, Solana, Tron and Bitcoin through a single execution layer, with resolvers competing to price and fill every swap.
Swap's role in the business is to be the primary retail on-ramp into USDT on Bitcoin — every swap that routes through it is a potential new holder of the asset Utexo issues.
The role
Utexo is hiring a Head of Swap to take full ownership of the product: the team building it, the roadmap defining it, the go-to-market getting it adopted, and the wallet integrations that put it in front of users. This is a build-and-run mandate, not a narrow product or BD role — the right candidate will move fluidly between managing engineers, negotiating with wallet partners, and deciding what ships next.
What you will own
● Team leadership. Manage and grow the Swap team, setting direction and holding the bar on execution.
● Roadmap and prioritisation. Define what gets built and in what order, balancing new chain and asset
support, resolver experience, and integration demand.
● Go-to-market strategy. Own how Swap is positioned and adopted — against an intent-swap landscape where protocol fees have collapsed toward zero and competition happens on spread, resolver quality and distribution.
● Wallet integrations. Drive and close integrations that embed Swap directly into wallets, since Utexo Swap's non-custodial, per-swap settlement model (dedicated escrow on EVM and Tron, a PDA on Solana, a Taproot HTLC on Bitcoin) is built for exactly this kind of embedding.
What the product already does
You will inherit a live, documented product rather than a blank page:
● Cross-chain swaps across Ethereum, Solana, Tron and Bitcoin through one REST API.
● Competitive pricing via RFQ, with resolvers competing on every quote.
● Non-custodial settlement, isolated per swap, so funds from one swap are never exposed to another.
● A resolver integration framework with protocol-facing endpoints and webhook lifecycle events already specified.

What we are looking for
● Domain experience. Prior GTM, partnerships or product leadership at a swap provider, DEX aggregator, intent-based protocol, or DeFi liquidity platform. You should already understand RFQ pricing, resolver/solver economics, and why protocol fees in this space have compressed toward zero.
● Partnerships track record. Experience landing and closing integrations with wallets or distribution partners, not just advising on strategy from the outside.
● Team management. Has led a product or engineering-adjacent team before, with the judgment to hire for the gaps in their own skill set.
● Cross-chain fluency. Comfortable across EVM, Solana and Bitcoin-native execution models — this role spans all three, plus Tron.
● Comfortable owning a roadmap, not just contributing to one. This is a Head of role: the final call on priorities sits here.
