Head of Trading & Market Structure

You will develop and operate trading activities supporting asset management, vault, and risk businesses. You will run market-neutral and delta-neutral strategies, manage execution and collateral, establish risk controls, monitor vault performance, and work with engineering and operational partners on trading infrastructure and processes.

Responsibilities

• Own the basis book, including trade selection, sizing, guardrails, and delta management
• Choose hedges and manage rolls, term structure, funding-rate regimes, and attribution
• Execute trades across centralized and decentralized venues
• Optimize collateral and financing across USD, stablecoins, and liquid RWAs
• Define strategy parameters and risk inputs for delta-neutral vaults
• Specify vault logic, allocation rules, rebalancing, fees, and risk limits with engineering
• Monitor vault utilization, yield, model deviations, and hedging interactions
• Establish delta, margin, liquidation, kill-switch, circuit-breaker, and alerting controls
• Produce PnL attribution, stress tests, capacity analysis, and vault performance reporting
• Coordinate with engineering, risk, operations, legal, custody, prime, and vault partners
• Maintain runbooks and audit-ready processes
• Refine execution models, collateral routing, sizing, and vault design

Requirements

• Have 3–5+ years of experience running cash-and-carry, basis, or funding-capture strategies in crypto or related TradFi relative-value markets
• Demonstrate PnL attribution for a delta-neutral book and a clear risk framework
• Understand crypto market microstructure, perpetual funding, futures rolls, liquidity, margin models, ADL, clawbacks, and exchange operations
• Use Python for analysis and automation
• Be comfortable with exchange APIs, websockets, FIX, dashboards, and 24/7 monitoring alerts
• Have experience with reconciliations, NAV and PnL checks, custody and wallet operations, counterparty underwriting, incident management, and documentation
• Demonstrate communication and leadership across risk, engineering, and operations
• Understand capital routing between centralized venues and onchain vaults
