Head of Treasury ($15K) [ID 709007]

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and direct foreign exchange (FX), money market, and liquidity management functions, ensuring alignment with financial objectives.
• Develop and implement treasury strategies to optimize liquidity, funding, and overall balance sheet performance.
• Oversee daily cash positions, liquidity forecasting, and contingency funding planning to maintain adequate liquidity amid fluctuating market conditions.
• Lead funding efforts through interbank and wholesale markets while fostering strong relationships with key banking and financial institution counterparts.
• Establish and oversee treasury risk management frameworks, including liquidity and market risk, ensuring compliance with approved appetites and limits.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory liquidity requirements and prudential standards, including Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR) and Net Stable Funding Ratio (NSFR).
• Collaborate with senior management, Risk, Finance, and business stakeholders to promote business growth and capital efficiency.
• Provide strategic market insights and recommendations to senior leadership on funding costs and treasury-related risks.
• Mentor and develop the treasury team, cultivating a high-performance culture and ensuring effective governance and control.
• Drive continuous improvements in treasury processes, systems, reporting, and operational efficiencies.

Requirements:

• Relevant educational background in finance or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 8-12 years of experience in Treasury.
• Completion of FMRP certification is required.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to perform under pressure.
• Knowledge of money markets, foreign exchange, FX derivatives, CD issuance, and bonds.
• Practical experience in Bank Asset-Liability Management.
