- Develop and lead a proactive partnership strategy focused on acquiring strategic allies that provide enhanced liquidity, funding avenues, and capital introduction.
- Cultivate and secure relationships with key partners, including:
- Banking & Credit Partners: Negotiate exclusive facilities, structured credit products, and margin/leverage solutions for our clients.
- Institutional Capital Partners: Identify and secure agreements with institutional investors, private debt funds, and family offices to co-invest or provide capital for proprietary strategies.
- Product & Platform Partners: Ally with leading asset managers and FinTech providers to create unique, high-liquidity investment products and services for our client base.
- Structure, negotiate, and execute complex partnership agreements that deliver measurable value in terms of capital access, revenue, and client acquisition.
- Act as the primary relationship manager for key capital and liquidity partners.
- Measure and report on the ROI of all partnerships, with a clear focus on assets acquired, liquidity provided, and capital raised.
- Manage the liquidity and capital strategy, ensuring optimal deployment of capital to support investment activities and strategic initiatives fueled by new partnerships.
- Oversight of daily cash flow, forecasting, and liquidity planning to ensure the company and its clients can capitalize on immediate investment opportunities.
- Manage and negotiate all banking relationships, credit lines, and custody agreements, ensuring terms are highly competitive and support the company's growth objectives.
- Implement risk management frameworks to mitigate financial risks (e.g., interest rate, counterparty) associated with new funding and investment vehicles.
- Ensure seamless and secure operational execution for all client and company’s fund movements.
- Collaborate with the CIO and investment teams to align treasury operations with the influx of capital and liquidity from new partnerships.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field. MBA or CFA strongly preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in a combination of strategic partnerships (within financial services), business development, treasury, or capital raising.
- Proven, quantifiable experience in forging partnerships that directly resulted in acquired assets, secured lending facilities, or raised capital is required.
- Deep existing network of contacts within banking, institutional capital, and the wealth management ecosystem.
- Expert understanding of credit products, capital markets, and investment vehicles.
- Exceptional negotiation and financial acumen, with experience structuring complex agreements.
- Should be brilliant with numbers, interpreting data / terms / clauses and addressing issues and at the same time be able to build business relationships, talk to various levels of an organisation (CXOs to Analysts) for structure and deal related discussions and to get work done by various people.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at the C-level.
