Head - Procurement - Data Centre Infrastructure

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced procurement leader to drive strategic sourcing, contracts, vendor management, and commercial procurement for hyperscale and edge data centre projects across multiple locations.

The role will be responsible for ensuring timely procurement of equipment, materials, and services while optimizing costs, maintaining quality standards, and supporting project delivery schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead procurement and strategic sourcing activities for large-scale infrastructure projects.

- Develop and execute sourcing and procurement strategies.

- Manage commercial negotiations and contract finalization with OEMs, suppliers, contractors, and service providers.

- Drive vendor development, performance management, and long-term partnerships.

- Ensure timely availability of materials and services for project execution.

- Collaborate with Engineering, Projects, Finance, Legal, Operations, and external stakeholders.

- Identify opportunities for cost optimization and procurement efficiency.

- Lead and mentor procurement, sourcing, contracts, and vendor management teams.

Desired Profile:

- B.E./B.Tech (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or related discipline preferred).

- MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain, Operations, or Procurement preferred.

- Professional certifications in Procurement or Supply Chain would be an advantage.

- 18+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, contracts, and supply chain management.

- Strong experience in large infrastructure, engineering, energy, EPC, industrial, mission-critical, or data centre projects.

- Exposure to Greenfield and Brownfield projects involving electrical, mechanical, civil, utility, and technology infrastructure.

- Expertise in strategic sourcing, vendor development, contract management, commercial negotiations, and cost optimization.

- Experience managing high-value procurement spends and stakeholder relationships.

Industry Experience:

Professionals from Data Centres, Power Infrastructure, EPC, Telecom Infrastructure, Industrial Projects, Semiconductor Facilities, Airports, Metro Rail, and similar large-scale infrastructure sectors are encouraged to apply.

Preferred Background:

Candidates from leading data centre, infrastructure, EPC, engineering, and technology organizations will be highly preferred.
