Summary
Remote Head of Product (FinTech) for SYNTHESIS: runs a portfolio of high-stakes products end to end — roadmaps, prioritization, decision rights and quality standards — while raising quality across senior engineers, designers and ML experts. Experience in fintech, govtech, healthtech or legal tech is expected; the stack is machine learning.
Function:
General Management - Strategy, Product & Project Management - Product Management.
Fintech, Govtech, Healthtech, Legal, Portfolio, Product, Roadmap, Roadmaps.
Responsibilities:
- Product judgment in high-stakes settings: has decided what to build and what to drop in ambiguous, high-trust products where errors matter.
- Influence without hierarchy: raises quality across senior engineers, designers, ML and domain experts without becoming a bottleneck or approval layer.
- Portfolio and org design: has run multiple products at once - roadmaps, dependencies, decision rights, quality standards (ready to pilot/deploy).
- High-stakes domain: legal tech, govtech, healthtech, fintech or critical infrastructure where privacy, reliability and trust are non-negotiable.
Requirements:
- Good to have: Fieldwork in India / Global South, multilingual or offline-first AI products, government deployments.
