Job Description: Head of Product Management - Fintech
Role Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Head of Product Management to lead product strategy, development and execution for our fintech business. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in building and scaling digital financial products, understanding customer needs, driving product innovation and delivering business growth.
The candidate will work closely with engineering, design, business, operations, compliance and leadership teams to develop customer-centric products aligned with the company's strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and execute the overall product vision, strategy and roadmap aligned with business goals.
- Identify market opportunities, customer pain points and emerging fintech trends.
- Drive product innovation and develop scalable financial technology solutions.
- Lead the complete product lifecycle, from ideation and conceptualization to launch and continuous improvement.
- Translate business requirements into product specifications, PRDs, user stories and functional workflows.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align product strategy with organizational objectives.
- Leverage customer insights, analytics and market research to improve product experience.
- Ensure products adhere to applicable regulatory, security and compliance requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 6 - 12 years of experience in Product Management, preferably within the fintech, banking or financial services industry.
- Proven experience in building, launching and scaling digital products.
- Strong understanding of fintech ecosystems, digital payments, lending, banking or financial services.
- Experience in product strategy, roadmap planning and end-to-end product lifecycle management.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Hands-on experience with Agile, Scrum, Jira and product documentation tools.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and leadership skills.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience working with fintech startups, NBFCs, banks, payment companies or financial technology platforms.
- Exposure to UPI, payment gateways, digital lending, wallets, merchant solutions or embedded finance.
- Experience managing cross-functional product and technology teams.
- Understanding of API's, integrations, digital onboarding, KYC and regulatory frameworks.
