Job Description: Head of Technology Division

We are looking for a seasoned technology leader to head and drive the Technology Division, overseeing technology initiatives and projects across the K12 and Higher Education sectors.

The individual will be responsible for defining and executing the overall technology strategy, managing end-to-end technology operations, introducing and implementing emerging technologies, and driving digital transformation initiatives.

The ideal candidate should have strong exposure to the US education market, a proven track record of managing large-scale technology projects, and the leadership capabilities to independently lead the entire technology function, build high-performing teams, and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technology Leadership & Strategy:

- Lead and manage the entire Technology Division, aligning technology initiatives with the organization's business objectives.

- Define the long-term technology roadmap and drive innovation across K12 and Higher Education projects.

- Identify, evaluate, and implement emerging technologies to enhance organizational capabilities.

- Drive technology modernization, automation, AI adoption, and digital transformation initiatives.

2. Education Technology & Project Management:

- Oversee technology projects and solutions catering to K12 schools, universities, colleges, and higher education institutions.

- Manage end-to-end project delivery, from conceptualization and solution design to implementation and ongoing support.

- Ensure technology solutions meet client expectations, quality standards, scalability, and business requirements.

- Drive integration of platforms, applications, learning technologies, and enterprise systems.

3. US Market Exposure:

- Leverage strong understanding of the US education technology landscape and its evolving requirements.

- Manage projects, stakeholders, and technology engagements catering to US-based clients.

- Understand US education standards, technology trends, client expectations, and competitive dynamics.

- Build and strengthen relationships with international stakeholders and technology partners.

4. Emerging Technologies & Innovation:

- Stay ahead of developments in AI/ML, Cloud Computing, Data Analytics, Automation, Learning Management Systems (LMS), and other emerging technologies.

- Identify opportunities to introduce innovative technology solutions across educational platforms.

- Drive research, development, technology adoption, and continuous improvement.

5. People & Organizational Leadership:

- Take complete ownership of the Technology Division, including strategy, delivery, operations, and performance.

- Lead, mentor, and develop technology leadership teams, project managers, architects, and engineering teams.

- Build a strong technology organization with clear accountability, governance, and performance metrics.

- Manage budgets, resource planning, operational efficiency, and overall technology investments.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- 15+ years of experience in technology leadership, IT management, or technology-driven project delivery.

- Proven experience heading a Technology Division, Technology Business Unit, or large technology organization.

- Strong exposure to K12 and Higher Education technology projects or companies.

- Experience working with US-based clients, organizations, or education technology markets.

- Demonstrated experience in managing and implementing new and emerging technologies.

- Strong understanding of modern technology architecture, cloud platforms, AI/ML, data analytics, and enterprise applications.

- Proven ability to manage large teams, multiple projects, and complex technology operations.

- Excellent stakeholder management, strategic thinking, and business leadership capabilities.
