Job Summary:
We are looking for a Head of Temp staffing vertical. A profit
center head who can manage Stakeholders, payroll and payroll related
compliances and cash flow. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of compliance, Tax Deducted at Source (TDS), compensation
structures, maintaining accurate records, and a strong understanding of
government business processes. Additionally, this role includes business
development responsibilities to grow the client base.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Relations &
Stakeholder management:
· Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding services,
payroll matter, MIS & other – as may be needed from time to time.
· Coordinate with clients to understand their payroll requirements and
ensure compliance with their policies.
· Provide regular updates and reports to clients on payroll status and
issues.
2. Payroll Processing:
· Manage and oversee the entire payroll process for temporary staff.
· Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll, including salaries,
bonuses, deductions, and taxes.
· Handle TDS calculations and filings in compliance with government
regulations.
· Maintain and update payroll records, ensuring accuracy and
confidential.
3. Compliance:
· Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements related to payroll
and staffing.
· Stay updated on labor laws, tax regulations, and other relevant
legislation.
· Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and
external regulations.
· Manage relationships with government bodies and agencies for
compliance-related matters.
4. Compensation Management:
· Develop and manage compensation structures
· Ensure competitive and fair compensation practices.
· Conduct regular reviews of compensation policies and practices.
5. Business Development:
· Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the client
base.
· Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and potential
clients.
Qualification:
1. Education: Any Graduate or MBA/PGDM in HR is preferred.
2. Experience: 6-8 years of experience in payroll processing, temporary
staffing, or related roles.
Skills:
1. Having professional and business acumen.
2. Strong knowledge of payroll systems and processes.
3. Excellent understanding of labor laws and compliance requirements.
4. Familiarity with compensation management and structures.
