Health and Safety Manager , Data Center Health and Safety

Discussion
Join the world class safety culture at Amazon Web Services (AWS) and be part of supporting the largest cloud computing infrastructure team. As a Health & Safety Manager within the EMEA Data Centre Health & Safety (DCHS) team, this is a dual-scope role: you will own strategic programme delivery, performance reporting, and goal management for the region while also providing hands-on health and safety coverage across assigned Data Centre buildings.

You will drive regional safety strategy into measurable execution through business reviews, programme rollouts, data analytics, and cross-functional coordination, while also delivering site-level health and safety operations including audits, risk assessments, compliance, and day-to-day safety guidance to operations teams.

You will work closely with Regional Safety Managers, Operations leadership, global programme teams, and cross-functional partners to advance the health and safety mission through data-driven insights, structured programme governance, and executive reporting. You will be the connective tissue between regional safety leadership and enterprise-wide decision-making forums.

Each day you will partner with experts in safety operations, construction, compliance, data analytics, and human resources to drive continuous improvement in safety outcomes. Close collaboration with Global DCHS, Data Centre Planning & Delivery (DCPD), Global Programs & Systems (GPS), Legal, and Procurement is required.

As AWS continues to grow, you will lead organisational change initiatives to ensure safety programmes scale with the business. You will work in a fast-paced environment where rapid infrastructure expansion demands disciplined programme governance, proactive risk identification, and data-driven resource allocation.

You will report to the Senior Regional Safety Manager, EMEA. Some domestic and international travel is required.
