Position Summary:

The Health & Safety Specialist will focus on improving health and safety at STARPLUS ENERGY by using his/her experience to anticipate, recognize, evaluate, control, and minimize hazards in the workplace. This position reports to the Health & Safety Manager.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Conducts incident investigations and audits to minimize work-related illnesses and injuries.
• Ensures proper implementation of ergonomic processes.
• Acts as an expert resource for health and safety standards and program implementation.
• Responds to emergencies and assists with compliance for annual safety training.
• Performs risk assessments and develops projects to reduce injuries and illnesses.
• Tracks safety-related data and enforces compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
• Perform other position related duties as assigned
