Job Description:
We are seeking a Health and Safety Technician to join
our team. This professional will be responsible for ensuring compliance with
legal standards and the highest levels of workplace safety and occupational
health. The ideal candidate will proactively implement effective policies and
promote a culture of safety across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement health and
safety policies and procedures in compliance with current regulations.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections
to identify risks and implement corrective actions.
- Investigate incidents related to
workplace safety and propose preventive and corrective measures.
- Deliver training sessions and
awareness programs on safety practices for employees.
- Maintain detailed records of
inspections, incidents, and training programs.
- Ensure the availability and proper
condition of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate with various departments
to strengthen the culture of workplace safety.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and
ensure compliance with all legal obligations.
- Assist in drafting and reviewing
emergency plans and evacuation procedures.
Requirements
- CAP
VI certification in Health and Safety at Work (mandatory).
- Bachelor’s
degree or technical training in Health and Safety Engineering or a related
field.
- Proven
experience in the construction industry (minimum of 2 years).
- Valid
driver’s license and availability to travel across Portugal.
- Strong
knowledge of health and safety regulations and standards.
- Fluency
in English (mandatory).
- Excellent
analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
