About the Health Plan Partnerships Team:
The Health Plan Partnerships team owns Color's relationships with its health plan, TPA, and PBM partners – the channel through which a significant and fast-growing portion of Color's business flows. The team is responsible for everything from early contracting and go-to-market strategy to Account Executive activation, RVP enablement, and ongoing partner operations.
This is a high-growth, high-visibility team. As Color brings more health plan, PBM, & TPA partners live and expands the book of business running through those partnerships, the operational and commercial demands on the team are scaling quickly. We're building the infrastructure, processes, and people to match that growth – and this role is a key part of that build.
About the Role:
Color is looking for a Health Plan Partnerships Manager to sit at the intersection of commercial growth and operations. This is a quota-carrying role with direct impact on how Color scales revenue through its health plan, PBM, and TPA partnerships.
You'll work closely with a Health Plan Partnership Director, owning day-to-day partner operations while also driving meaningful pipeline alongside Color's sales team and partner account executives, associate account executives, and clinical account managers. This role offers high visibility with leadership and a clear line of sight to commercial outcomes.
How You'll Contribute:
Sales Enablement & ASO Pull-Through (70%)
Own partner AE engagement strategies (partner events, trainings, 1:1 relationships) to drive growth via the ASO (self-insured) segment
Build network of sales champions across book of partners
Accountable for inbound pipeline attainment in collaboration with partner account executives at health plans, PBMs, and TPAs
Partner with plan AEs to ensure Color is recommended in client annual business reviews
Coordinate deal progression and next steps with Color RVPs
Ensure all open opportunities are properly tracked and maintained in Salesforce (SFDC)
Own development of AE and consultant training curriculum and enablement assets (playbooks, client ABR materials, objection handling guides, FAQs) for partner sales teams; lead delivery of trainings and onboarding sessions
Assist with partner events and conferences to deepen relationships and drive downstream pipeline (estimated 2-3x per quarter travel)
Own pre-event outreach strategy and post-event pipeline follow-up for 2-3 partner events/conferences per quarter
Partner Operations (30%)
Own the health plan partnership operating rhythm for assigned partnerships: set the recurring meeting cadence, circulate agendas, and hold internal/external stakeholders accountable for action items
Own the partnership plan for assigned partnerships as agreed upon with the Partnerships Director: define milestones, assign owners, track progress, and flag risks to the Director before they become escalations
Own internal partnership documentation and dashboards as the single source of truth on partnership status for internal stakeholders
Coordinate with marketing on approved asset development for assigned partners (approved member communications ensuring partner consistency, pre-sale materials, market-facing partnership materials)
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Experience in digital health and/or healthcare consulting – you understand the space and hit the ground running
Familiarity with the payer landscape and how digital health solutions partner with health plans, PBMs, and TPAs
Experience in a quota-carrying or pipeline-owning sales, partnerships, or business development role, ideally in a channel or partner-sell-through model
Track record of building and running relationships with sales reps or account executives at a partner organization to drive pipeline (not just internal stakeholder management)
Comfortable owning a number: pipeline generation, attainment against a target, or channel revenue growth
Experience designing or delivering sales enablement content (training, playbooks, objection handling) and running live trainings with an external sales team
Hands-on Salesforce (SFDC) experience – you keep pipeline clean and use data to prioritize
Scrappy and creative with a strong bias toward action – you don't wait for perfect conditions to move forward
Comfortable operating across both operational and commercial workstreams; you're as comfortable building a reporting workflow as you are preparing for a partner QBR
Strong communicator who can work effectively with external partners and internal stakeholders alike
Willingness to travel to partner events approximately 2-3 times per quarter
