OBJECTIVE
The Health, Safety and Security (HSS) Assistant supports Oxfam in maintaining safe, healthy and secure working and operational environments for staff, volunteers, IBVs, refugees, visitors, contractors and other stakeholders.
The Assistant provides day-to-day coordination and translating Oxfam HSS policies, standards and risk-management requirements into practical field-level actions.
Key responsibilities include support in risk assessments, inspections, incident coordination, emergency preparedness, fire safety, security, health and safety training, compliance, corrective-action follow-up and HSS reporting.
The Assistant support in operational oversight and escalates significant risks to the Security, Health & Safety officer.
