Position Summary

Redtree is seeking Health & Safety Facilitators to support active data center construction projects across our Iowa sites. This role is a day-to-day, field-based presence on the construction site, working alongside the general contractor, trade partners, and the owner's representatives to reinforce safe work practices and help build a strong, visible safety culture. This is a hands-on, in-the-field role rather than a desk-based compliance function, candidates should be comfortable spending the large majority of their time walking the site and engaging directly with crews.

You Will…

• Monitor day-to-day construction activities in the field, observing work in progress and identifying at-risk conditions or behaviors before they become incidents.

• Work closely with the general contractor, trade partners, and owner's representatives to align on safety expectations, resolve field-level concerns, and support a coordinated site safety program.

• Help build and strengthen the project's safety culture through visible presence, coaching, and consistent reinforcement of safe practices among trade partners and crews.

• Support safety orientations, toolbox talks, and onboarding for trade partners new to the site.

• Document field observations, near-misses, and safety walk findings, and help drive corrective actions to closure.

• Bring an understanding of the heightened safety expectations on large-scale, mission-critical construction projects to daily site activities.

If You…

• Have approximately 10 years of relevant construction safety experience.

• Have a strong construction-safety background on large-scale construction projects.

• Have experience on mission-critical projects (data centers, power, or similarly critical facilities) preferred but not required.

• Are comfortable being out in the field monitoring active construction, not working primarily from an office or trailer.

• Can work effectively and diplomatically with the general contractor, trade partners, and owner's representatives.

• Have the presence and communication skills to help build and reinforce a strong safety culture on site.

• Bring practical, hands-on field experience — a college degree is not required for this role.

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct experience supporting data center or other mission-critical construction projects.

• Relevant safety certifications (e.g., OSHA 30, CHST, or equivalent) are a plus.

• Experience working across multiple concurrent sites or with a traveling/multi-site safety role.

Location: Iowa

Work Schedule

This is a full-time, on-site, field-based role supporting active construction operations. Schedule and site assignment will align with project construction hours and milestones at the assigned location.
