HSE Manager (m/f/d)
YOUR Mission:
- Ensure DIV01 HSE requirements are fully implemented by the General Contractor, act as HSE ambassador on site
- Identify, assess, and manage high-risk activities across all project stages, liaise with design teams and coordinate forward safety planning with contractors
- Monitor and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for Health & Safety, conduct independent audits on all aspects of construction management
- Develop and implement reporting and communications structures for HSE management performance, actively participate in meetings, training, daily briefings, and management reviews
- Review and assess health & safety implications of changes during construction, monitor compliance between HSE planning and actual works on site
- Assess accidents, incidents, and near-miss reporting; evaluate findings and monitor implementation of corrective and preventive measures
- Encourage contractor participation in structured HSE initiatives and awards schemes, promote positive safety behavior and continuous improvement across all stakeholders
YOUR SKILLS:
- Minimum 10 years' experience in a senior Health & Safety role with formal qualification in HSE management and construction-specific expertise
- Degree and/or professional certification in Health & Safety (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent)
- Extensive experience in contractor communications, design team liaison, and coordination with project professionals
- Deep knowledge of construction HSE management procedures, RAMS, lifting plans, HRA auditing, and compliance frameworks
- Strong communication and reporting skills with ability to influence positive safety behavior and drive continuous improvement
- Fluent in German and English (strong verbal and written communication)
