Health & Safety Manager | Pharmaceutical Manufacturing | Drive Workplace Safety Excellence #HDC

Key Responsibilities
- Lead industrial hygiene monitoring and workplace safety assessments to evaluate occupational exposure risks.
- Develop and implement exposure assessment strategies for chemical, physical, biological, and ergonomic hazards.
- Conduct ergonomic assessments and recommend practical risk control measures.
- Lead and review investigations into workplace incidents, near misses, environmental events, and significant safety occurrences to identify root causes and preventive actions.
- Provide expert EHS guidance and technical support to operational teams.
- Plan, develop, and deliver engaging EHS training programmes across the site.
- Conduct routine workplace inspections and ensure compliance with workplace safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and manage internal EHS audit programmes, identifying opportunities to strengthen compliance and operational excellence.
- Establish and monitor EHS objectives, key performance indicators, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Drive site-wide EHS programmes and management systems to effectively manage operational risks.
- Review operational changes, new projects, and product introductions to identify potential EHS impacts and recommend appropriate controls.
- Collaborate with regional and global teams to share best practices and strengthen EHS standards.
- Maintain and enhance EHS policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Prepare and submit required EHS reports to relevant regulatory authorities and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) with the Ministry of Manpower.
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline.
- At least 3 years of experience managing Environment, Health & Safety systems in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Experience conducting Workplace Safety & Health training for groups of approximately 50 to 200 participants.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to drive a proactive safety culture.
