About the Position: This position is located at Naval Hospital Bremerton in Bremerton, Washington. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
Plan, develop, direct, and coordinate the implementation of activities related to Patient Safety, Clinical Risk Management, Joint Commission Compliance, Infection Control, Customer Relations, and Credentialing and Privileging program activities.
Designs and implements performance measures, quality indicators, and analytical methodologies to evaluate care delivery and organizational effectiveness.
Oversees Joint Commission Compliance readiness activities, including tracer methodology, policy review, compliance monitoring, and corrective action planning.
Oversee the Infection Control Program activities.
Overseas the Customer Relations program that serves as the central contact for beneficiaries and staff members who have complaints, problems or issues regarding the Military Healthcare system or the customer service.
Plans work to be accomplished by subordinates.
Conducts timekeeping activities, develops performance standards, and recommends awards.
Investigate cases from multiple data sources, such as inpatient and outpatient records, incident reports, occurrences, infection control data, length of stay, or summaries of complications to identify problems.
Interpret, develop, analyze, coordinate and recommend short, mid, and long range plans and programs to maintain an optimal level of performance for all functions of the MEDDAC.
Provide oversight and direction to include the planning and development of a comprehensive facility-wide infection control program.
Provide training to staff members as necessary regarding regulatory standards and guidelines, policy and procedure changes, high reliability organizational goals and improving the quality and safety of the care provided.
