Health Technician (Surgical)

About the Position: This position is located at Brooke Army Medical Center, Fort Sam Houston, Texas. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation

Transport patients from hospital units to the Operating Room assuring safe transportation of the patient.

Select, assemble, and organize required supplies, equipment, and instruments for specific surgical procedure.

Assist anesthetist during induction and throughout surgical procedure.

Clean operating room after surgery.

Arrange instruments in the trays in the correct manner.

Position or assist positioning patient and draping the patient for the specific procedure.
