Health Technician (Urology)

About the Position: The position is located in the Urology Department at Naval Medical Center, San Diego, CA., a state-of-the-art medical facility dedicated to providing comprehensive urological care. Perform administrative, housekeeping and stock maintenance duties.

Perform routine, moderate, and complex urodynamic diagnostic procedures independently using highly technical computerized systems.

Screen patients and assist the physician with varied examinations, treatments, and surgical procedures.

Provide technical guidance on how to assemble and disassemble endo-urology equipment, safety requirements, and the usage of equipment in the operating room.

Position and drape patient to prepare for examination or surgery and maintains asepsis throughout all procedures to prevent infection

Perform specialized equipment operator maintenance in accordance with manufacturer's directions.
