Provide clinical and procedural support in a urology department, including specimen collection, equipment setup, patient prep, and assisting with examinations and diagnostics.
About the Position: This position is with the Defense Health Agency. It is located in the Urology Department at Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center (DDEAMC) at Fort Gordon in Augusta, Georgia. Supporting the providers within the Urology Service, providing clinical, diagnostic, and procedural assistance across the full range of urologic care within the Medical Treatment Facility (MTF). Collect and label specimens for all patients.
Set up equipment and prepare patients for urological examinations.
Schedule appointments and maintain medical records.
Assist urologists in performance of urologic examinations.
Perform a variety of radiographic and invasive non-routine diagnostic examinations.
Monitor supply levels and coordinate procurement of equipment.
