Healthcare Assistant (Patient Care Technician) – Freelance / Part-Time

We provide community-based care services that enable seniors to age safely and comfortably in their own homes. We are seeking compassionate and reliable freelance Healthcare Assistants (Patient Care Technicians) to support elderly clients living independently in HDB flats, condominiums, and private residences across Singapore.

Work Location

• At seniors' homes across Singapore
• Assignments matched based on location and availability

Job Responsibilities

• Assist seniors with activities of daily living (ADLs)Personal hygiene and groomingToileting assistanceMobility and transfer assistanceFeeding assistance
• Monitor and document basic vital signs where required
• Provide companionship and social engagement
• Support medication reminders (without administering medication unless qualified and authorized)
• Accompany seniors to medical appointments and community activities
• Observe and report changes in clients' physical or emotional condition
• Maintain professional communication with family members, care coordinators, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals
• Complete service records and assignment reports promptly

Requirements

• Training provided 14-18 December/Kulai; or
  Certificate in Healthcare Support, Patient Care, Caregiving, Nursing-related discipline, or equivalent
• Not mandatory, relevant experience in home care, nursing homes, hospitals, community care, or eldercare settings preferred
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Compassionate, patient, and service-oriented
• Able to work independently in clients' homes
• Basic digital literacy for mobile reporting and communications
• Singapore Citizens, Permanent Residents, and eligible work-pass holders may apply

Working Arrangements

• Flexible hours
• Weekday, evening, weekend, and public holiday assignments available
• Assignments typically range from 2 to 12 hours per visit
• Freelancers may accept or decline assignments according to availability

Remuneration

• Competitive hourly rates
