Healthcare Digital Project Manager (Digital Health & Clinical Systems)
Description
Salary: RM 4,000 – RM 6,000 per month
About aimAI
aimAI develops AI and digital technology solutions for healthcare organizations, including hospitals and clinics. We work with healthcare teams to support practical digital transformation.
About the role
We’re looking for a hands-on Project Manager to deliver digital health and healthcare IT projects for hospitals and clinics. You’ll work with clinicians, healthcare users, client management, technical teams, and vendors to turn clinical and operational needs into workable solutions—and guide projects from requirements through implementation, go-live, and post-launch support.
This role is best suited to someone who has directly worked on healthcare IT, digital health, or clinical-systems projects. Relevant experience may include EMR/EHR, HIS, clinical systems, hospital IT, or healthcare software implementation. Experience with AI is welcome, but healthcare project delivery is the key requirement.
What you’ll do
Manage healthcare technology projects from planning and requirements through implementation, go-live, and post-implementation follow-up.
Define scope, timelines, milestones, deliverables, budgets, and measures of success; track progress, risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.
Gather requirements and understand hospital or clinic workflows, such as registration, appointments, triage, lab requests, treatment, discharge, and referrals.
Translate clinical, operational, and business needs into clear project plans and functional requirements for technical teams.
Coordinate clients, clinicians, business users, internal teams, vendors, and other stakeholders; facilitate meetings and working sessions.
Coordinate system configuration, integration, data migration, testing, training, user feedback, and go-live readiness.
Support user adoption and change management, monitor post-launch issues, and follow through on resolutions and improvements.
Maintain project documentation and provide clear status updates to clients and management.
Help ensure delivery follows relevant quality, security, confidentiality, data privacy, and healthcare requirements.
Support client presentations, product demonstrations, and proposals where needed.
What you’ll bring
At least 2 years of hands-on project management, project coordination, or implementation delivery experience in healthcare IT, digital health, or clinical systems.
Direct experience with at least one relevant area, such as EMR/EHR, HIS, clinical systems, hospital IT, healthcare software, or healthcare-system implementation.
Experience coordinating technology implementation activities such as requirements gathering, integration, testing, training, data migration, or go-live.
A good understanding of healthcare operations or clinical workflows, and the ability to turn user needs into actionable project requirements.
Strong organization, communication, and stakeholder-coordination skills, including the ability to work with healthcare professionals and technical teams.
A bachelor’s degree in Medical or Healthcare, Health Informatics, Digital Health, Information Systems, IT, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related discipline.
Strong spoken and written English.
The ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to have
Experience working in or delivering systems to hospitals, clinics, or other healthcare environments.
Experience supporting client presentations, product demonstrations, proposals, or business development.
Bahasa Malaysia and/or Mandarin communication skills.
