Healthcare IT Project Lead (5 days / Office Hours)

Work location: One North
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 6pm
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage IT and digital transformation projects supporting polyclinic and Diagnostics operations, including instrument connectivity, system integration and application enhancements.
- Plan project timelines, resources and deliverables, and oversee requirements gathering, system testing, UAT, implementation and post-go-live support.
- Collaborate with laboratory, radiology, imaging, clinical, operations and IT teams to develop and implement cross-functional and cross-institutional IT solutions.
- Evaluate and implement emerging healthcare technologies, including AI-enabled solutions for radiology reporting and other digital platforms to improve operational efficiency.
- Analyse existing workflows and data to identify process gaps, system issues and opportunities for automation and optimisation.
- Business as Usual (BAU) IT Activities: Oversee BAU IT activities, ensuring full compliance with GITO requirements, budgeting, and resource management.
- Lead change management and user adoption, including stakeholder communication, training coordination, SOP development and implementation support.
- Manage vendors, project budgets, resources, risks and deliverables, ensuring projects are completed within agreed timelines and requirements.
- Prepare project proposals, business cases, management reports and performance dashboards to support technology and operational decisions.
- Lead and mentor team members while coordinating cross-functional stakeholders and project teams to achieve successful project delivery.
- Drive continuous improvement and digitalization initiatives to enhance workflow efficiency, service quality and patient care.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 4–5 years of experience in a clinical or healthcare laboratory environment, with at least 2 years in an IT Application Specialist or similar role.
- Proven experience in project leadership, IT solutioning, data analysis, and driving IT initiatives.
- Project Management or relevant programme management certification will be an advantage.
- EPIC Beaker and/or NGEMR application certifications are preferred.
