Job Summary

We are seeking a Healthcare Analyst – Bilingual to join our team in Medellín, Colombia. The ideal candidate will have healthcare industry experience and a strong understanding of healthcare operations, clinical workflows, and patient care processes.

This role serves as a bridge between clinical, operational, and Information Services (IS) teams, ensuring that technology solutions align with business and healthcare needs. The successful candidate will gather requirements, analyze workflows, facilitate communication between stakeholders, and support healthcare technology initiatives that improve patient care and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a liaison between clinical, operational, and Information Services teams.
  • Gather, analyze, and document business and operational requirements.
  • Assess current workflows and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Translate business and operational needs into functional requirements for technical teams.
  • Participate in healthcare technology implementation and optimization projects.
  • Collaborate with clinicians, department leaders, and IT teams to ensure solutions meet organizational objectives.
  • Develop and maintain workflow documentation, process maps, and project-related materials.
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and validation activities.
  • Facilitate communication and stakeholder engagement throughout project lifecycles.
  • Assist with change management, training coordination, and adoption of new processes or technologies.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a healthcare environment with exposure to healthcare operations and clinical workflows.
  • Experience working directly with clinicians, nurses, providers, laboratory teams, or operational healthcare teams.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare operations and patient care processes.
  • Experience gathering requirements, documenting processes, and supporting workflow improvements.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous healthcare industry experience in hospitals, clinics, laboratories, diagnostic services, healthcare operations, or healthcare technology environments.
  • Experience supporting workflow optimization, process improvement, operational excellence, or healthcare transformation initiatives.
  • Undergraduate degree in Healthcare, Healthcare Administration, Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
