Compensation

Salary Range: $72,000 - $92,000 per year

Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, specialized skills, geographic location, and internal equity considerations.

About the Opportunity

The Healthcare Revenue Cycle Business Analyst is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements to support operational and strategic initiatives across the organization. This position works closely with leaders and team members across multiple departments, including Operations, Finance, Sales, Customer Service, Information Technology, and Human Resources, to identify process improvements, develop reporting solutions, and support business initiatives.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with department leaders and stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
  • Conduct meetings and interviews to understand business processes, challenges, and operational needs.
  • Analyze existing workflows and identify opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance reports, dashboards, KPIs, and other analytical tools using Power BI, Excel, and related reporting platforms.
  • Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and reporting requirements from stakeholders to support projects, reporting needs and operational initiatives.
  • Monitor project progress and assist with testing, implementation, training, and change management activities.
  • Analyze operational and financial data trends and provide recommendations to support business decisions.
  • Respond to ad hoc reporting and data analysis requests from leadership and operational teams.
  • Collaborate with IT, business, and operational teams on data integration and reporting initiatives
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and effective manner.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintain documentation related to business processes, reporting requirements, and project activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or a related field required.
  • Healthcare industry experience required, particularly within revenue cycle operations, denial management, financial analytics, payroll, or business operations.
  • Experience gathering and documenting business requirements.
  • Experience working with reporting, analytics, dashboarding, or business intelligence tools such as Power BI and Excel.
  • Working knowledge of SQL preferred.
  • Experience participating in cross-functional projects and collaborating with multiple departments.
  • Experience supporting business process improvement initiatives preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to evaluate business processes and recommend practical solutions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong data analysis and reporting skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other reporting tools.
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled tools and technologies that support reporting, analytics, and business process improvement.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team environment.
