Position Summary
The Administrative Assistant I facilitates the efficient operation of the designated department and/or manager(s) within the designated department by performing a variety of administrative tasks, such as\:
*answering telephones
*greeting and directing visitors
*maintaining and scheduling appointment calendars
*handling various forms of mail (i.e. paper, email, overnight express, fax)
*ordering office supplies and furnishings
*arranging for equipment repairs
*maintaining filing systems and/or computerized record keeping systems and/or databases
*completing standardized forms
*handle all confidential correspondence and inter-department communications
*perform other duties, as assigned
