Heavy Duty Driver

Responsibilities
• Operate heavy-duty and light-duty vehicles within the Warehouse scope, including trucks, flatbed trailers, pickup vans, and any other assigned equipment, in accordance with company procedures and applicable regulations.
• Perform loading and offloading of raw materials at designated loading/unloading stations using company equipment and systems, ensuring full compliance with operational and safety procedures.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure roadworthiness, safety, and operational reliability, and promptly report any defects or abnormalities.
• Ensure all cargo is properly secured and safely loaded in compliance with company SOPs, legal requirements, and best industry practices to prevent damage or incidents during transit.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date vehicle logbooks and operational records as per company requirements.
• Operate all vehicles and equipment in a safe, responsible, and efficient manner, fully adhering to relevant legislation, company policies, procedures, and HSE requirements.

Requirements

Qualification and Experience:
• Minimum of five (5) years of proven experience in operating heavy-duty and light-duty vehicles within industrial, logistics, or warehouse environments, with a strong track record of safe driving performance.
• Demonstrated ability to perform vehicle inspections, secure loads, maintain logbooks, and basic warehouse and material handling activities in compliance with company procedures.
