You’ll repair fleet tractors and specialty pressurized trailers and build custom up-fits to customer specs. We’re part of TerraVest Industries, so you get the stability of a large, growing company with the feel of a family hands-on shop where your work is noticed.

• Pay: $25 per hour, with potential for more based on experience and skill
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, first shift, no weekends
• Health: Medical, dental, vision insurance, short/long term disability, life, pet
• Retirement: 401(k) with company match
• Time off: Paid vacation and sick time @ 90 days
• Growth: Company-paid HDT Mechanic testing/license renewal; pay increase with specific HDT certifications
• Perks: Uniforms provided, steel/composite toe boot reimbursement program
What You’ll Do
• Diagnose and repair brakes (including air brakes), wheel seals, suspensions, and related systems on tractors and trailers
• Perform maintenance and repair on pressurized transport trailers
• Weld and fabricate (MIG/TIG) on custom work such as moving axles and adding gates or cabinets
• Complete DOT inspections and keep accurate service records
• Run a forklift and overhead crane as part of daily shop work
• Work on top of trailer tanks and inside tanks when the job calls for it (we train you on the safety procedures)
Good to Know
This is a safety-sensitive role. Offers are contingent on passing a pre-employment drug screen (including marijuana) and a criminal background check. Some tasks require a tight-fitting respirator, so you must be clean-shaven where the mask seals to your face. Facial hair that doesn’t interfere with the seal may be OK, case by case. If you have questions, ask us in the interview.
