HEAVY-DUTY TRUCK MECHANIC – MOBILE UNIT

You know your trade, enjoy solving problems, and like it when no two days are the same?
With our mobile unit, you take your skills on the road. Driving a fully equipped service truck, you’ll work directly at customer locations or on the road to diagnose problems and perform the necessary repairs.
You’ll enjoy the independence of working on the road while having the support of a strong and experienced team behind you.
Your Schedule
Monday to Friday – schedule to be determined
Your Role
As a Mobile Unit Mechanic, you’ll work directly in the field to get our customers’ trucks back on the road safely and efficiently.
More specifically, you’ll be responsible for:
Performing diagnostics and mechanical repairs during service calls
Identifying the cause of mechanical issues and determining the repairs required
Communicating with the Parts Department and Service Advisors when additional work is required or repairs cannot be completed on the road
Documenting service calls and following up on completed repairs
Performing road tests when necessary to ensure repairs have been completed properly
Providing professional and courteous service to our customers during each service call
You’ll work independently, but never without support. Our team will be there whenever you need assistance.
What We’re Looking For
Minimum 3 years of experience in heavy-duty truck mechanics
DEP in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics or equivalent training (an asset)
Valid Class 3 driver’s licence and excellent driving record required
Good computer skills
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Excellent customer service skills
Independence, versatility, and resourcefulness
