Heavy Haul Driver

B&B Wrecker, a division of Guardian Fleet Services
Euless, TX and Fort Worth, TX areas
Average Weekly Compensation: $2,000
Essential Duties:
- Heavy equipment hauling, Lowboy and Land All
- Load/unload cargo damage free
- Ability to drive and perform duties via interstate for towing, recovery, and/or transport.
- Report each scheduled day, on-time, ready and able to work, well-groomed and in uniform.
- Work with our Dispatch team
- Work flexible hours, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and extended travel as required both local and distance hauling.
- Perform vehicle inspection sheet daily, identifying any mechanical issues.
- Comply with Company and DOT regulations regarding the safe operation of the truck.
- Tracking E logs
- Inspect all supplied tools such as chains, straps, and cables to ensure equipment is in a good and safe condition.
- Report any issue that restricts the ability to complete the dispatch in a timely manner.
- Other duties as assigned.
Competencies and Abilities:

- Must be able to speak, write and communicate in English
- CDL Class A - Heavy Haul
- Ability to communicate calmly and effectively
- Basic technology skills. Ability to use GPS, company-issued software, mobile device
- Time management skills
- Basic mechanical skills and ability to use tools
- Attention to detail and accuracy when documenting work, hours, and information
Qualifications, Education, and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Class A driver’s license with at least two (2) years of heavy hauling/commercial driving experience
- Must be at least 21 years of age to meet company insurance and driving eligibility requirements
Physical Requirements:
- Job requires lifting, crawling, pulling, constant use of hands, significant bending, reaching and climbing
- Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts

Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Must be comfortable working at elevated heights and around elevated equipment when required
