Heavy Lift Engineer
- Technical planning of heavy lift and multipurpose projects with a focus on marine transportation.
- Developing procedures and preparing manuals for load-out, transportation, mooring, installation, and other marine operations.
- Supporting tendering and bidding activities.
- Maintaining communication with internal and external stakeholders regarding technical matters.
- Monitoring and coordinating projects on-site worldwide.
- Collaborating with colleagues from various departments, including Chartering and Operations, to ensure smooth project preparation and execution.
- Contributing to the development and maintenance of a positive HSEQ culture.
- Experience in maritime heavy lift transportation projects.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in heavy lifting and/or heavy transport engineering.
- BSc or MSc degree in Naval Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Experience with structural engineering software is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
- Good knowledge of CAD software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and across multiple projects.
- Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to prioritize tasks and manage workloads efficiently.

As Heavy Lift Engineer at SAL Engineering in Hamburg, you will be responsible for the technical planning and engineering of complex heavy lift and marine transportation projects – developing innovative solutions, preparing operational procedures, and supporting safe and efficient project execution from concept to completion.
