Heavy Vehicle Driver

Key Responsibilities:

Drive Class 4 vehicles, report timely at port, transport goods safely and efficiently.

Perform loading and unloading of goods independently and according to safety regulations in or out of port and all delivery locations.

Familiar with Safe Work Practices of handling cargo, coordinating with forklift driver, securing cargo on vehicle.

Identify correct cargo against delivery documents, customs permit, gate in or out from ports and customs clear cargo with permit.

Ensure accurate cargo delivery, collection and coordinate movement according to delivery planner.

Conduct vehicle inspections, perform routine vehicle checks and maintenance

Adhere to traffic regulations, workplace safety guidelines and PPE requirement in and out of Jurong / PSA Port.

Requirements:

Possess a valid Singapore Class 4 driving license.

Physically fit, able to perform loading, securing and unloading cargo.

At least 1 year of experience as a heavy vehicle driver.

Basic literacy to read delivery document and communicate in English.

A responsible and safety-conscious attitude.

Working Hours:

5.5 work day per week and may involve long hours, early reporting and overtime.
