The Role

This is a great opportunity to join a highly reputable brand and a team that is highly regarded for their ability to deliver a high-end service. Our Help Desk & IT Support may suit a recent school leaver or junior looking for an exciting IT career within logistics/transport. Reporting to the IT Manager, you will assist with the support of over 350 users within Australia and New Zealand through providing exceptional customer service to assist with user desktop support, remote troubleshooting of software/network related issues, resolving tickets in a fast, friendly, and professional manner, whilst being mentored by our leading-edge IT professionals to grow your career.

Day-to-day, you’ll be:

  • Planning and allocating fleet resources across Brisbane metro and surrounds

  • Coordinating driver movements and managing real-time schedule changes

  • Communicating with drivers, customers, and internal operations teams

  • Monitoring job progress and resolving issues as they arise

  • Using dispatch and routing software to optimise fleet efficiency

What you need is:

To be successful, the ideal applicant will have the following skills, attributes and experience:

  • Commenced or looking to study a Certificate II in Applied Digital Technologies or gaining experience in a related IT field

  • In depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows family of Operating Systems

  • Linux Operating Systems

  • Understanding of data interchange formats such as JSON and XML

  • Proficient in MS Office suite

  • Basic understanding of networks and networking

  • Excellent communication skills (phone, written, listening and verbal)

  • Ability to multi-task and manage workloads effectively

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Resilience, passion and ability to work at pace and under pressure

  • Willingness to learn and take on responsibilities
