Help Desk Specialist

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with various platforms used within the organization, including Mac, Windows, Google, iOS, Android, and Chrome OS.
  • Technical certification and/or degree preferred; A+, Microsoft, Apple, and/or Network certifications desirable.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain hardware, software, peripheral devices, and identify network issues.
  • Demonstrated understanding of computer networks, enterprise systems, and system integration.
  • Proficient in using remote technologies to resolve issues.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect and analyze data, problem-solve, and make informed decisions.
  • Service-oriented mindset with a flexible and adaptable personality.
  • Strong attention to detail in all tasks.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must undergo a criminal history check and provide proof of US citizenship or legal alien status.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site support at different locations as required.
  • Troubleshoot and perform hardware repairs and software/system upgrades as necessary and appropriate.
  • Support audiovisual equipment.
  • Install and maintain computers, printers and related technology.
  • Execute projects as delegated by the Director of Technology.
  • Maintain current system integrations and implement additional integrations as identified and approved; including but not limited to Powerschool, Google, LinkIt!, IEPDirect, MDR, MDM and other programs as necessary.
  • Be available outside of normal business hours, including evenings and weekends, based on district needs.
  • Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the role.
  • Adhere to all district policies and regulations.
  • Undertake other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Technology, School Business Administrator/Board Secretary, or Superintendent of Schools.


Terms of Employment:
12 Month position
Non-Affiliated staff member
Salary starting from $50,000 (commensurate with experience)
Full time staff are eligible for Medical, Prescription and Dental benefits
