The role
You'll be the first point of contact for IT across the business. Solving problems quickly. Getting new starters set up properly. Keeping systems healthy behind the scenes.
What you'll be doing
- Providing first level support across hardware, software and network issues
- Troubleshooting and resolving user problems, escalating complex issues when needed
- Provisioning laptops, desktops, tablets and mobiles for new employees
- Setting up user accounts, security configurations and access rights
- Securely decommissioning and wiping devices when people leave
- Keeping the asset database accurate and up to date
- Running routine checks on server health, system logs and performance
- Assisting with data recovery and email quarantine
- Writing knowledge base articles and training users on common tools
- Occasional out of hours support for planned maintenance
- 1 to 3 years in an IT support or helpdesk role
- Solid working knowledge of Windows 11, Microsoft Office and Apple iOS
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a basic grasp of networking
- A calm, customer focused approach and clear communication
- Current drivers licence and willingness to travel across the state
- Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Entra, Intune, Exchange Online or Azure exposure
- Broad role with real exposure across IT
